PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound output device capable of emitting a more easily audible notification sound.SOLUTION: A sound output device 46 includes: first sound reproduction means 44m that is mounted on an apparatus, and outputs, at least during the execution of processing by the apparatus, a first sound signal showing an additional sound; second sound reproduction means 44w that outputs a second sound signal showing a notification sound in response to the completion of the processing by the apparatus; and sound output means 45 that emits the additional sound on the basis of the first sound signal output from the first sound reproduction means 44m, and emits the notification sound having a pressure level higher than at least that of the additional sound on the basis of the second sound signal output from the second sound reproduction means 44w. |
