摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator element which can be manufactured by a convenient method, and in which surface discharge is prevented between the electrodes without upsizing the entirety, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: In an actuator element 20 having a lamination structure formed by laminating a plurality of electrode coating bodies 10 each having an electrode layer 11 composed of a material including a conductor and an elastic insulator layer 12, two edges 13i, 13o of the electrode layer 11, facing each other, in each electrode coating body 10 are uncoated edges not coated with the elastic insulator layer 12, and the surface of an electrode layer 11 other than the two uncoated edges is coated with the elastic insulator layer 12. One of the two uncoated edges is an open edge 13o exposed to the edge of the electrode coating body 10, and the other is an insulation edge 13i insulated for the outside of the electrode coating body 10.
