PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a friction pad assembly for a disc brake improved in a degree of freedom in revolution of lining assemblies, and suppressing uneven wear.SOLUTION: A plurality of lining assemblies 27 disposed on a guide plate 25 are respectively provided with: a plate fitting portion 47 revolvably fitted to a guide hole portion 43 formed on the guide plate 25 at its outer peripheral face; and a retaining flange portion 49 having an outer diameter larger than the guide hole portion 43, on a back plate portion 33 fixed to a back surface of a friction material 45. Disc springs 51 supporting the lining assemblies 27 in a state of biasing them to a guide plate side, are held between a first link plate 21 or a second link plate 23, and the back plate portion 33, and are engaged with back plate contact curved face portions 57. |
