PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of improving combustion at the time of electrification to a glow plug and at the time of cold start in a low outside temperature condition.SOLUTION: A control device of a diesel engine includes a common rail type fuel injector 6 that has a glow plug 31 for heating gas in a cylinder at the time of cold start, and a direct injection fuel injection valve 9 in which one of a plurality of injection holes faces to the glow plug 31, and can perform pilot injection at least two times before main injection. At the time of electrification to the glow plug 31 and at the time of cold start in a low outside temperature condition, the control device reduces an injection amount of pilot injection executed between the first pilot injection and the main injection, according to temperature rise of an engine from the cold start. |
