The present invention relates to a piece made from a metal sheet or strip material and having a piece body defining an axis of extension. The piece body has a first, generally planar surface, an opposite second, generally planar surface and a thickness defined between the surfaces, said piece being provided with at least one through-going hole with a reinforced edge area. The reinforced edge area comprises a base section, and an annular wall extending from the base section in a direction substantially perpendicular to the axis of extension of the piece body towards a rim portion, said annular wall defining a height and comprising an outer wall surface and an inner wall surface. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method of manufacturing a piece for the construction industry and to a system for stabilising a structure against the forces subjected to the structure from the wind. |
