PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quick setting agent for cement, which can improve the quick setting properties and strength developability of the cement.SOLUTION: The quick setting agent for cement contains 1-5 parts silicon in terms of an oxide thereof based on 100 parts of the total of calcium aluminate, alkali metal carbonate, alkali metal aluminate and gypsum and has 90-99% vitrification rate, 1.5-2.5 molar ratio (CaO/AlO) of CaO to AlO, and 75% or higher integrated value of particles each having 5-30 μm particle size. The quick setting agent for cement contains 20-50 parts of the calcium aluminate, 1-20 parts of the alkali metal carbonate, 0.1-20 parts of the alkali metal aluminate and 21-45 parts of the gypsum having 50% or higher integrated value of particles each having 5-30 μm particle size. |
