The invention relates to a vehicle for transporting passengers, comprising an air conditioner (K) for conditioning air to be fed to a passenger compartment (I) in the vehicle. The air conditioner (K) comprises a cold unit (KT) that includes a heat exchanger (KR) with an associated fan (L) which conducts heat exchanger supply air (KZL) over the heat exchanger (KR) so as to effect heat exchange. The passenger compartment (I) is fluidically connected, via an exit air duct (FOL), to an air suction side of the fan (L) associated with the heat exchanger (KR) in order for the fan (L) to conduct exit air (FOL) from the passenger compartment (I) over the heat exchanger (KR) together with heat exchanger supply air (KZL) so as to effect heat exchange.
