PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for joining a terminal and an electric wire in which, even if the terminal and the electric wire are different in material quality, while avoiding the occurrence of electric corrosion, the electric wire and the terminal are mechanically firmly joined to each other and also can be joined in an electrically stable state, and to provide the terminal for electric wire connection.SOLUTION: An electric wire 5 retained in a first caulking piece 6 is caulked under stress to which an external force is applied and electrically joined to a terminal 1 while the electric wire 5 retained in a second caulking piece 7 is soldered to the terminal 1 in a heated state under no stress to which the external force is not applied by energization to heating electrodes 10, 12 and the terminal 1 and the electric wire 5 are mechanically joined to each other. Moreover, the terminal 1 having quality different from that of the electric wire 5 has surface treatment for avoiding electric corrosion with the electric wire 5. |
