PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion element with high conversion efficiency capable of being manufactured in a simple step, and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A photoelectric conversion element comprises a semiconductor substrate of a first conductivity type and a first amorphous film of a second conductivity type provided on one surface of the semiconductor substrate. A surface of the semiconductor substrate is provided with a groove. A bottom surface of the groove is provided with a second amorphous film of a first conductivity type. A side wall of the groove includes a portion not provided with the second amorphous film. There is also provided a method for manufacturing the photoelectric conversion element. |
