PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shampoo composition being excellent in foamability, foam creaminess and finger combing during rinsing, imparting moist feeling to the hair after drying and fresh feeling to the scalp after drying, and also having excellent temporal stability and further having excellent foamability even under coexistence of an oily component.SOLUTION: A shampoo composition contains 3 to 30 mass% of a taurine salt of acylmethyl-&bgr;-alanine represented by the formula (1) as (a) component, 2 to 20 mass% of an acylmethyl taurine salt-type anionic surfactant as (b) component, 3 to 30 mass% of an amphoteric surfactant as (c) component, 0.03 to 3 mass% of a cationized polymer as (d) component, and 17 to 92 mass% of water as (e) component, where the mass ratio [(a)+(b)]/(c) of the total content of (a) and (b) components to the content of (c) component is 0.2 to 3. (RCO represents an acyl group having a carbon number of 8 to 22. Mrepresents an alkali metal, alkanolamine or basic amino acid.) |
