[Class 44] A hose suspender grip comprises a plate 11 having a T-shaped. slot 13 and a pear-shaped aperture 23 co-operating with a flexible member 17 with two headed projections 16, 21, the former being slidably guided in the vertical limb 13b of the slot, and the latter, provided with a wedge-form neck conforming to the converging form of the sides of aperture 23, co-operating with aperture 23 to grip the hose 25. The head of projection 21, when covered by a portion of the hose &c., can be passed through the enlarged end of aperture 23. One or both edges of the horizontal part 13a of slot 13 may be cut away as at 15 to allow insertion of projection 16 when assembling the part, the supporting tape 14 which is afterwards threaded through slot 13a preventing removal of part 16. The upper end of slot 13b may also be restricted at 19a to retain the neck of part 16 in said slot. A modification is described in which the aperture 23 is of keyhole form with downwardly diverging sides to the narrow portion of the aperture. |
