a registered jack type 45 (RJ45) jack including a plurality of plug interface contacts; an augmented registered jack type 45 (ARJ45) plug including a plurality of plug contacts in electrical communication with respective said plug interface contacts; a housing connecting said RJ45 jack to said ARJ45 plug; and a printed circuit board contained within the housing having circuitry connecting the plurality of plug interface contacts of the RJ45 jack with the plurality of plug contacts of the ARJ45 plug. |
