1. A method of loading stores onto an aircraft, the method comprising:
providing a station incorporating:
a base;a plurality of lift portions mounted to said base;a controller adapted to control positioning of said plurality of lift portions; receiving stores at said plurality of lift portions; determining locations of a plurality of hardpoints of the aircraft; controlling said plurality of lift portions to position received stores in accordance with corresponding hardpoints; and securing the stores to the corresponding hardpoints.
