The invention relates to a process for preparing of the electroactive layer on the gold electrode surface by modifying the gold electrode, an electrode produced by this method according, an electrochemical biosensor with a stable redox-active layer, use of the biosensor to monitor the interaction between the probe molecules immobilized on the gold electrode surface and the specific molecules present in an aqueous solution. The invention also relates to a method of detecting specific molecules by the biosensor for the detection of specific sequences of DNA and/or RNA, or antigens or antibodies, particularly implicated in the pathogenesis - in particular for detection of pathogens, particularly viral infections, particularly of avian influenza virus H5N1. |
