The device has a mounting rail (5) provided in a main structure by which equipment components (2-4) are secured at a side wall (1) in an inner space of a motor vehicle. The equipment components are positioned in different positions along the mounting rail. The mounting rail is extended along a longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle. Length of mounting rail is greater than 2 m, 4 m, 6 m or greater than 8 m. The mounting rail is provided on the side walls of the motor vehicle. A threaded portion is inserted in the mounting rail. An independent claim is included for a motor vehicle.
