The pane-rail has a planar inner side of two side pieces (22, 24) of a U-section (20). A base area (18) of a glass pane (16) is provided in a partial area of the two outer sides (17, 19) of the glass pane, between section bodies (34). The maximum width of the area between the two side pieces of the section is lower than the mutual clear distance of the two side pieces of the section. A wedge (60) is inserted between the glass pane and the side pieces, where the free space between the glass pane and the U-section is filled with fluent or sealing compound in the form of paste. |
