1. A secondary battery comprising:
an electrode assembly comprising a first electrode plate, a second electrode plate, and a separator between the first electrode plate and the second electrode plate; a first electrode terminal; a first collecting plate having a flat and rectangular first region contacting the first electrode plate or the second electrode plate, a second region extending perpendicular to and directly contacting the first region, wherein the second region has a terminal hole configured to receive the first electrode terminal, and a first reinforcement part and a second reinforcement part that extend perpendicular to and directly and electrically contact and support both the first region and the second region, wherein a width (W2) of the second region is greater than a width (W1) of the first region, and a length (L3) of the first reinforcement part is less than a length (L1) of the first region; a case housing the electrode assembly and the first collecting plate; and a cap assembly sealing the case. |
