1. A capsule for the preparation of a beverage in a beverage machine, the capsule comprising:
an enclosure containing one or more beverage ingredients to be brewed; and a discharge wall that is designed to be positioned in a path of a brewed liquid and which comprises a discharge member configured to prevent the brewed liquid from being discharged from the capsule or limit a liquid flow when a pressure inside the enclosure is below a predetermined value, and to enable delivery of the brewed liquid when the pressure exceeds the predetermined value, the discharge wall extending substantially from a bottom of the enclosure to a top of the enclosure, and the discharge wall consisting of a flexible or elastic material.
