An applicator device comprising a body (110) having a distal dispensing chamber (220) for receiving an antiseptic agent (122), an interior lumen (212) comprising a proximal end (112) having a spike (202), and a breakable membrane (270) interposed between the interior lumen and the distal dispensing chamber, the body further comprising an outer surface adjacent the breakable membrane, the outer surface comprising a handle (150) extending outwardly therefrom, the proximal end further comprising a set of compatible threads (200), wherein the breakable membrane is defeated upon actuation of the handle, thereby providing fluid communication between the interior lumen and the distal dispensing chamber, and a pad coupled to an outer surface of the distal dispensing chamber and in fluid communication with the distal dispensing chamber via a plurality of windows (224) at the distal end of the body. |
