An ophthalmic image output device comprising: circuitry configured to detect a selection within a site selection mode of a site of a presented ophthalmic image;optimize an image of the selected site;output an image in which the selected site has been optimized; andgenerate a graphical user interface (GUI) corresponding to a received instruction,wherein the circuitry is configured to receive a selection, via the GUI, of a grayscale adjustment mode in which a portion of an image of a predetermined range in the periphery of a designated position within the selected site is optimized according to the grayscale adjustment mode, wherein the GUI is further configured to display a selectable menu of predefined regions of the ophthalmic image, and wherein the portion of the image of a predetermined range in the periphery corresponds to the predefined regions.
