1. A method for separating mixed materials comprising:
depositing a plurality of mixed materials upon a horizontally oriented unitary deck having a first longitudinal end that is opposite from a second longitudinal end, the first longitudinal end elevated higher than an elevation of the second longitudinal end; rotating the unitary deck vertically; migrating a first portion of the plurality of mixed materials having similar physical characteristics off the first longitudinal end of the unitary deck through said rotation of the unitary deck; and migrating a second portion of the plurality of mixed materials having similar physical characteristics off the second longitudinal end of the unitary deck through said rotation of the unitary deck.
