The production of aqueous dispersions of odiferous substance-containing melamine-formaldehyde microcapsules by the acid-induced condensation of melamine-formaldehyde pre-condensates and/or the C1C4-alkyl ethers thereof in the presence of a protective colloid is known. However, there is the problem that such dispersions easily separate into a very high-viscosity, almost cut-resistant upper phase and a low-viscosity lower phase, which complicates the processability. The present invention describes how, through the use of surfactants, particularly oxo-alcohol ethoxylates, extensive stabilization of the dispersions can be achieved. |
