Toothbrush and method for its manufacture

The toothbrush has a head (1) with a cleaning side (5), and a sack hole provided with side walls and two bases. A beveling or rounding is formed at a transition region between the bases and the side walls, where a cross-section region of the head between one of the bases and a rear side is varied relative to a cross-section region between another base and another rear side. The two bases are arranged at the head in such a manner that a short distance between the two bases and the two rear sides ranges from 0.5 mm to 2.5 mm. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a toothbrush.
