PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator system the cage of which can be equipped with emergency articles without decreasing a specified number of passengers.SOLUTION: Lids (2C, 3C, 4A and 4C) which are opened and closed within the elevator cage are provided on plate materials (2, 3 and 4A) that constitute the elevator cage 1, and an emergency article storage compartment 8 is formed using the back space of the lids. The emergency article storage compartment 8 usually is at the outside of the elevator cage 1, so that it is not necessary to decrease the specified number of passengers. In addition, if passengers are packed in the elevator cage 1, they open the rid and use emergency articles stored in the emergency article storage compartment 8 in the back space such as a portable toilet and emergency food, and their mental stress can be reduced. |
