The purpose of the present invention is to reduce the occurrence of poor fitting between a plug and a receptacle. This fitting tool 100 includes: a rod-like main body 1 having a cylindrical hollow space 2 therein; a spring 3 (elastic member) stored in the hollow space 2; a press member 4 partially stored in the hollow space 2 and having one end extending out from the hollow space 2; and a magnet 8 (plug holding member) provided at the tip of the press member 4. The plug is fitted in the receptacle by using the fitting tool 100 where the press member 4 is pressed, by the spring 3, towards the outside from the inside of the hollow space 2. |
