The present invention provides a rotor type fiber cutting device comprising: an exterior case formed as a box member having an inner space, and having a fiber insertion hole formed in the top surface thereof and into which a long fiber to be cut is inserted, a fiber discharge hole formed in the bottom surface thereof and from which a short fiber, which has been cut, is discharged, and a mounting wall for providing a mounting area; a rotor positioned in the exterior case, mounted on the mounting wall so as to be rotatable, rotating by receiving the driving force of a rotation driving part, and having a plurality of blade mounting grooves respectively formed on the outer circumferential surface thereof along the circumference, and blades respectively mounted on each blade mounting groove; a support roller positioned adjacent to the rotor in the exterior case, mounted on the mounting wall so as to be rotatable, and rotating together with the rotor while one end of each of the blades, which are mounted on the rotor, engage with the outer circumferential surface thereof; and a guide roller positioned at an upper part between the rotor and the support roller in the exterior case, positioned so as to be adjacent to or come into contact with the support roller, and guiding the long fiber, inserted through the fiber insertion hole of the exterior case, to a contact part between the rotor and the support roller. Therefore, fine fiber cutting and stable operation are enabled and damage to the blades is minimized such that maintenance costs are reduced.
