The invention relates to a method for fastening a watchstrap (12b) to a wristwatch and/or removing said fastened watchstrap (12b) from said wristwatch. The inventive method comprises the steps of: a. providing a watchstrap (12b) having two end sections (17b), which are each equipped with a transverse spring bar (18b), which project beyond said watchstrap (12b) on both sides with a respective mounting pin; b. providing a wristwatch comprising a watchcase (11) with two opposite recesses (15a,b) for receiving said end sections (17b) of said watchstrap (12b), whereby each recess (15a,b) has a first mounting hole (16b) for receiving one of said mounting pins of said spring bar (18b), on one side, and a second mounting hole connected with a side slot (19b) for guiding and receiving the other of said mounting pins of said spring bar (18b), on the opposite side; c. fastening said watchstrap (12b) by putting an end section (17b) of said watchstrap (12a, b) into the respective recess (15b) of said watchcase (11) and at the same time inserting a first of said mounting pins of said spring bar (18b) axially into the first mounting hole (16b) of said recess, and by then moving the second of said mounting pins of said spring bar (18b) laterally along said side slot (19b) towards said second mounting hole until it latches into said second mounting hole; and/or d. removing said watchstrap (12b) by pushing said second mounting pin of said spring bar (18b) out of said second mounting hole and laterally re- moving it from said recess (15b) along said side slot (19b), and by taking the respective end section (17b) of said watchstrap (12b) out of said recess (15b) and at the same time removing the first mounting pin of said spring bar (18b) from the first mounting hole (16b) of said recess. |
