The present invention provides a device (1) for transporting ski equipment across a surface, comprising: (i) a top part (2) comprising a hinged lid (3); (ii) a bottom part (4) comprising at least one wheel (6) or the like; and (iii) a substantially hollow receptacle (5) for receiving the ski equipment, wherein said hinged lid comprises means for holding (7) ski equipment in the device.
