A voice recognition method and apparatus. The method comprises: receiving voice information input by a user and recognizing the voice information in real time (S1); when the voice information produces mute, determining the type of the mute (S2); if the mute is a short mute, obtaining a first recognition result, displaying the first recognition result, and at the same time, continuously performing step S1 (S3); and if the mute is a long mute, obtaining a second recognition result and displaying the second recognition result (S4). According to the voice recognition method and apparatus, by recognizing voice information input by a user in real time, the waiting time of the user can be shortened, and user usage experience is improved. |
