Lawnmowers provided, on the side part of a body housing, with a side discharge port for discharging clipped grass have been configured so that a discharge port door for closing the side discharge port is held in the closed position merely by spring force, resulting in the discharge port door sometimes flapping due to wind pressure or vibration produced by trimming blade rotation. The purpose of the present invention is to eliminate the flapping of the discharge port door. The discharge port door (16) is provided with a lock device (20) for locking the discharge port door (16) in the closed position to eliminate flapping. The lock device (20) is unlocked by an unlocking operation performed by a user, making it possible to prevent an inadvertent opening operation. Setting the spring force so as to be weak makes it possible to open the discharge port door (16) with ease. |
