A polarization beam splitter, comprising: a strip-shaped first waveguide and an L-shaped second waveguide which are arranged in parallel and are provided with a first pre-set gap. The second waveguide comprises a second coupling waveguide (2) and a second output waveguide for outputting a transverse-magnetic (TM) mode which are successively connected; the second coupling waveguide (2) comprises a first structural part (6) at the bottom and a second structural part (5) vertically connected to the first structural part (6); and the second structural part (5) comprises a phase approximate matching waveguide (7) and at least one transitional waveguide (8), wherein the top of the phase approximate matching waveguide (7) is in a right trapezoid shape, and the lower base of the right trapezoid is arranged to face towards the second output waveguide. |
