Provided is a functional particle pigment which is usable as a colorant such as a heat-sensitive recording material, an ink for writing utensils, an ink for stamps, an inkjet ink and an ink for printing, and which has excellent chemical resistance without deteriorating specific properties such as storage stability, light resistance and coloring properties. This functional particle pigment is exemplified by a functional particle pigment internally containing at least a dye, which is characterized in that the outer surface of the pigment is coated with an olefin resin. |
