A permanent magnet electric rotary machine including a rotational shaft, a stator, a rotor connected to the rotational shaft, wherein the rotor is provided with permanent magnets, the permanent magnets facing the ferromagnetic cores of stator coils of the stator. The rotor includes ventilation means for in operation generating a fluid flow through the fluid channels of the ferromagnetic cores.
