A micro-mirror array and a backlight module using same and a display apparatus. Each reflector (202) in a micro-mirror array (120) is provided with a first deflection axis and a second deflection axis perpendicular to the first deflection axis, and a deflection angle is individually and continuously controllable. A backlight module (100) comprises a light source (110), the micro-mirror array and a control unit. The control unit adjusts the deflection angle of each reflector in the micro-mirror array in response to a backlight control signal, so that the micro-mirror array depends on the backlight control signal and uniformly reflects light emitted by the light source to the whole surface of a display screen (130) or converges same to one or more regions of the display screen. The provided backlight module can flexibly control the distribution of the backlight intensity by using a micro-mirror array based on a reflection principle. Particularly, reflectors in the micro-mirror array mechanically deflect, and therefore there is no impact on the service life of a light source, and the service life of the backlight module can be prolonged. |
