A GOA unit drive circuit and a drive method therefor, a display panel and a display apparatus, which relate to the technical field of displays, and are used for solving the problem that the power consumption of the display apparatus is increased caused by the fact that a parasitic capacitor existing in a transistor in a GOA unit consumes a large amount of electric energy. The GOA unit drive circuit comprises: a plurality of GOA unit sets, wherein each GOA unit set comprises at least one GOA unit; and a plurality of clock selection units, wherein the plurality of clock selection units are in one-to-one correspondence with the plurality of GOA unit sets, each clock selection unit is connected to the corresponding GOA unit set respectively, and each clock selection unit is connected to one clock signal end in a plurality of clock signal ends and at least one clock selection signal ends in a plurality of clock selection signal ends respectively; and an intersection set of any two GOA unit sets in the plurality of GOA unit sets is an empty set, and under the control of a signal from the at least one clock selection signal end connected thereto, each clock selection unit transmits a signal from the clock signal end connected thereto to the corresponding GOA unit set.
