1) providing a sample containing a virus; 2) preparing serial dilutions of the sample; 3) infecting host cells with the virus and incubating the culture; 4) reacting an antigen expressed by the virus in infected cells with an antibody labeled with a fluorescent tag; 5) determining the number of infected cells; and 6) determining the virus titer in the sample. |
