Disclosed are an expense management system and method based on a smart electric meter. The system comprises a smart electric meter and a cloud platform center. The smart electric meter and the cloud platform center communicate by means of a network. The smart electric meter manages expenses corresponding to at least two expense classes, executes payment, and generates a payment record. The cloud platform center is used for receiving the payment record, and writing payment parameters needed by management to the smart electric meter. The system fully utilizes functions of a smart electric meter, and pays for multiple living expenses by using the electric meter in a unified manner. On one hand, the payment procedure is simplified, and customer use is facilitated. On the other hand, each user pays for related expenses by using the electric meter, so the calculated amount of a center server is shared, functions of optimal resource utilization, distributed payment, and unified management are achieved. The system can be widely applied to various charge management systems. |
