The invention relates to a table tennis ball comprising a spherical hollow body (1) formed by adhesively bonding two hemispherical shells (2, 3) at two complementary folds (5, 6) provided on the free edges of said shells, said folds each having a radial shoulder (7, 8) and a circumferential shoulder (9, 10) which are disposed so as to face one another circumferentially in the case of the radial shoulders (7, 8) and so as to face one another radially in the case of the circumferential shoulders (9, 10), said circumferential shoulders each having a cylindrical portion (11, 12) and a conical portion (14, 15). The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing such a ball. |
