An infant monitoring system and method. The method comprises: step S11: when a monitoring terminal device (1) disposed at an infant end receives a device pairing number sent by a remote controller (2) disposed at a guardian end, starting the monitoring terminal device (1) to enter a working mode; step S12: judging whether the device pairing number of the remote controller (2) matches a device identification number of the monitoring terminal device (1); step S13: if the device pairing number of the remote controller (2) matches the device identification number of the monitoring terminal device (1), starting a GPS positioning apparatus (12) of the monitoring terminal device (1) to position geographical location information about an infant; and step S14: sending the geographical location information about the infant to the remote controller (2) by using a wireless network to make a guardian immediately master a specific location of the infant. By means of the method, the location of a lost infant can be accurately determined, the difficulty in rescuing, by the police, the lost infant is alleviated, and the rescued infant can see parents immediately. |
