The embodiments of the present disclosure relate to the technical field of wireless communications, and specifically relate to a method and device for resource allocation. In the embodiments of the present disclosure, a network side device notifies a terminal of a first correlation between a PPP and an LCG ID of each destination address; determines a PPP corresponding to an LCG ID of each destination address in a sidelink BSR MAC CE according to the first correlation; and allocates a resource to each destination address of the terminal according to the determined PPP and buffer area status information which corresponds to the LCG ID of each destination address in the sidelink BSR MAC CE.
