The purpose of the present invention is to provide a cable joint having a joint piece that slides satisfactorily and does not break readily. The cable joint has a joint case 10 and a joint piece 50, and the joint piece 50 is provided with a cable-end locking part and a cable lead-out groove 56. A joint-case-side main sliding surface 21a is formed to be flat, and convex parts 61 are provided in a joint-piece-side main sliding surface 60. The convex parts protrude toward the main sliding surfaces 60, 21a in a direction orthogonal to the main sliding surfaces, and peak parts 61a of the convex parts are positioned in positions corresponding to the cable lead-out groove 56 in the direction orthogonal to the main sliding surfaces. |
