Disclosed are a method and apparatus for acquiring configuration information of grant-free transmission units. The method comprises: a centrally-configured network element sends configuration information of grant-free transmission units of an access network device to the access device, the grant-free transmission units referring to transmission resources used for grant-free transmission, and the configuration information of the grant-free transmission units comprising at least one or more of the following: information of the grant-free transmission units or information of a control mechanism of the grant-free transmission units. By means of the method and the apparatus for acquiring configuration information of grant-free transmission units, an access device acquires configuration information of grant-free transmission units.
