The invention relates to a device for the random storage of synthetic fibres to form a nonwoven. To this end, the so-called melt-blown method is preferably used, in which the synthetic fibers are subjected to hot process air after having left an extrusion tool. The storage means, preferably a screening belt machine, has a plurality of storage regions. Furthermore, the extrusion tool and the storage means are arranged to be displaceable relative to one another so that, optionally, both storage regions can be used. According to the invention, one storage region is located at the circumference of a rotating drum. |
