PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clean a movable belt thoroughly with a simple configuration in a recording device that has a transport mechanism for transporting a recording medium placed on the movable belt.SOLUTION: A recording device includes: a transport mechanism 3 for transporting a recording medium P placed on a movable belt 10; a recording head 7 for recording on the recording medium P; and a cleaning mechanism 15 that is for cleaning the movable belt 10 and has a cleaning unit 13 having plural cleaning rollers 12 linked in a rotation axis direction D. Further, the cleaning unit 13 is disposed relatively to the transport mechanism 3 so that the rotation axis direction D is diagonal to a moving direction A of the movable belt. |
