PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion device that allows relaxing the influence of heat generation of an AC motor without adding a cooling fan.SOLUTION: A power conversion device includes a power converter 11 that receives a DC voltage or a commercial AC voltage and drives an AC motor 2. A housing is attached to a top surface of the AC motor 2 via a plurality of columns 3. The power conversion device further includes a suction port 12 provided on a ceiling plate of the housing, an exhaust port 13 provided on a bottom plate of the housing, and at least one cooling fan 10 provided so as to introduce external air from the suction port 12, and exhaust cooling air from the exhaust port 13 after cooling the power converter 11. The cooling air exhausted from the exhaust port 13 passes through an opening formed by the columns 3, the bottom plate of the housing, and the top surface of the AC motor 2, and then is exhausted to the outside. |
