PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic contactor capable of detecting conduction of contacts even when the contacts cannot be visually inspected.SOLUTION: An electromagnetic contactor 1 comprises: a pair of contacts 33 arranged oppositely so as to come into contact with and separate from each other; an excitation coil 23 controlling the contact and separation of the pair of contacts 33; a switching element 16 connected in series to the excitation coil 23, and controlling a current to be supplied to the excitation coil 33; and a voltage detection circuit 17 detecting a source-drain voltage Vds of the switching element 16. |
