PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calender roll ironer which can save the total space including an introducing machine and a folding machine at the front and the rear of the roll ironer, and can detect and remove a defective washed object in front of a heating roll.SOLUTION: In the calender roll ironer, a washed object introduced from an inlet of the ironer is transported so as to pass above a second heating roll 15 located at a first position nearest to the inlet, and the washed object is wound around a first heating roll 13 located at a second position to be heat-pressed between the roll and an endless belt. Then, the washed object is wound around the second heating roll to be heat-pressed between the roll and an endless belt. Between the inlet and the first heating roll, defective product detecting/removing means including a sensor 17 and a lift member 18 is arranged for detecting a flaw and stain on the transported washed object and removing the defective washed object from a non-defective product transporting line. |
