PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability without impairing design.SOLUTION: A hand rail comprises: a cap piece substrate material 2 provided on top edges of posts 1 erected at a predetermined interval on an installation surface; a cap piece body 3 mounted on the cap piece substrate material 2; and a panel 5 arranged on one side of the posts 1. The cap piece substrate material 2 is constituted of a plurality of divided substrate materials 2a divided to a substantially same length as the width of the panel 5; each divided substrate material 2a is fixed to the upper edge of the panel 5 to form a surface material unit a, the divided substrate material 2a of the surface material unit a is fixed to the upper end of the posts 1, the surface material units are continuously arranged in the longitudinal direction, the lower edge of the surface material unit a is attached to one end of the posts 1, and the long cap piece body 3 is engagingly attached to the upper parts of the divided substrate materials 2a arranged in the longitudinal direction. |
