PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance security of a thumbnail image.SOLUTION: An image processing device for generating a reduced image reduced at a predetermined reduction rate on the basis of an original image comprises: a setting unit that sets a filter size for setting the number of pixels to be averaged independently of the reduction rate; an averaging unit that averages component values of pixels in the original image in a unit of the number of pixels corresponding to the filter size; and an output unit that selects respective pixels of the averaged original image as many as a number corresponding to the reduction rate, and outputs them as the reduced image. |
