In a brake control apparatus 20, an isolation valve 60 is provided in a main flow channel 45 that brings a first hydraulic pressure circuit and a second hydraulic pressure circuit into communication with each other. A leakage prevention unit performs a leakage prevention process for preventing the brake fluid in the first hydraulic pressure circuit from flowing into the second hydraulic pressure circuit after the isolation valve 60 is brought into the closed state.
